I am a proud alumni of Morris Public Schools! #EAGLEPRIDE! 

I attended Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow and graduated with my Bachlors in Elementary Education in 2004. I went back to school and recived my Master’s in Library Science in 2016. I have always been in love with learning and think you can never do too much! I also decided to further my career by becoming certified in Special Education in 2018. This has been my best decision yet. I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else!

I began teaching in 2004. I have taught many different grade levels in many different districts. I feel like this wide diversity has helped me really grasp what I want and how I want my classroom to look like. I know that all children can learn and they all do learn differently. 

This is my sixth year teaching at Morris and I am so happy to be “home.” It was always my dream to come back and teach at the school who made me into the person I am today! I currently teach 6, 7, & 8^th Language Arts and Math. 

I am currently not married, my husband passed away in 2018. I know this has made me a much stronger and more empathetic person. I do not have any children of my own, but I have 4 amazing nephews that I love to spoil! .
